A lady of many layers, Kennedi was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. From a young age, she knew she was called to helping others, but a hairstylist was the last thing she envisioned herself as. In fact, growing up, if anyone asked her what she wanted to be, she would tell them an Astronaut because she loved learning about space and the planets. This passion followed her to college, where she pursued her Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering at Tuskegee University. In 2019, she scored two big internships and even began pursuing her private pilot’s license.

Fast forward to 2021 and her life took an unexpected turn… Kennedi was no longer pursuing her Bachelors degree or flying planes. Coasting through life, Kennedi felt like she was spiraling but soon realized she was exactly where she needed to be for God to get her attention. In 2022, she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl and God had gave her a vision that would change her life.

In Joshua, Chapter 1, the Lord spoke to Joshua basically telling him that it was time for him to step into his role as a leader because Moses had died. Although Joshua was already being equipped for this new role, he still needed reassurance from the Lord to be strong and courageous. Relating this biblical story to my own life’s journey… God has had to reassure me MULTIPLE times that He’s got me on this adventure. This story is the inspiration behind naming my brand Dauntless; it is the constant reminder to show up BOLD, STRONG, and COURAGEOUS, because the Lord has not only led me to where I am, but He’s also equipped me.

I allowed you guys to have a glimpse in my life because the path to purpose isn’t always a straight path. Everyday I strive to become a better version of myself by unlearning who the world defines me as by walking as the woman who God created me to be. In the same way Moses was a companion to Joshua in his season of transition, I aspire to encourage you to develop the person in the mirror first so you can overcome fear, unleash boldness, and become dauntless.
